Charles Barkley enlightens the alt-left on Confederate statues, and Antifa is not going to like it

NBA superstar, Charles Barkley has stepped out with a statement of his own, interestingly bashing the alt-left antifa who initiated the toppling of Confederate statues across America.

The entire movement seems a little insane to Barkley, who did not agree the statues represented symbols of racism.

The more interesting thing is that no one found these statues insulting while Obama was serving, or George Bush for that matter. But now, in efforts to bring Trump down, the liberals will be bothered by almost anything.

Barkley, a native from Alabama, had an interview with Rick Karle, the sports director at WRBC-TV in Birmingham, Alabama, and offered his piece of mind:

“I’m not going to waste my time worrying about these confederate statues,” said Barkley, who is generally left-oriented. “That’s wasted energy.”

You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to keep doing great things. I’m going to keep trying to make a difference, No. 1 in the black community because I’m black. But I’m also going to try to do good things in the world.

I’m not going to waste my time screaming at a neo-nazi who’s going to hate me no matter what. And I’m not going to waste my time worrying about these statues. I’ve always ignored them,

As far as advice goes, Barkley noted, “I’m 54 years old. I’ve never thought about those statues a day in my life. If you ask most black people, they haven’t thought a day in their lives about those stupid statues.”

It is worth mentioning that Barkley was out and about for years, defending black lives and violence against them.

“What we as black people need to do is: we have to worry about getting our education,” he said. “We need to stop killing each other. We need to try to find ways to have more economic opportunity. Those things are important and significant (not worrying about stupid statues).”

Take a look at the video below to see what else Barkley noted:

It is violence of this sort that keeps the alt-left busy, so naturally they took to Twitter to share their hatred:

Let’s think about this for a while. If the alt-left insists we have all ‘racism’ and ‘slavery’ statues removed, we should do so on both parts- the liberal and the conservative one. So, how about we start with Mount Rushmore?

I bet the liberals would sit this one out,, just because they have been busted on encouraging slavery and racism on more than one occasion.

But, truth, as it is, will always find its way.
