Glenn Beck foresees the end of Fox News channel

Glenn Beck has broken his silence on the controversy around Bill O’Reilly stating that the Fox News Channel is probably not going to survive this.

“You better stand up now and figure out what’s really happening with this O’Reilly thing or you’re gonna lose Fox News,” Beck stated for the fans of the channel during a Wednesday’s episode of The Glenn Beck Radio Program.

TheBlaze owner (and ex Fox News host) spoke about the sexual harassment allegations against O’Reilly, stating that The O’Reilly Factor host was most probably spending his last day on Fox News. Almost immediately, 21st Century Fox announced on Wednesday that O’Reilly said his farewell to the network.

“Roger is now gone, Rupert’s children are now playing a big role in the future of Fox. That’s not going to bode well,” Beck stated.

“Those two things mean the end of the conservative Fox as we know it or have known it. The end is coming. The days are numbered.”

Back in April, The New York Times reported that five women were given money which summed up to be $13 million by O’Reilly and Fox News for accepting to not file lawsuits or open up about him harassing them in any way. Those settlements were happening in the 2002 to 2016 time frame.

Following the breaking of the settlements news, The O’Reilly Factor was dropped by no less than half of its advertisers within a mere week, as reported by The Times.

O’Reilly spoke about the allegations back in an April 1 statement published on his website, through which he noted that his job made him “a target for those who would harm me and my employer, the Fox News Channel.”

O’Reilly has been hosting The O’Reilly Factor from 1996 which adds up to be 21 years to this day.
