President Trump responds to Mueller’s obstruction of justice investigation

Early on Thursday morning, President Donald Trump took to Twitter to say that he is the victim of a political “witch hunt” led by “bad and conflicted people” after reports that independent investigator in the Russia probe Robert Mueller is investigating the President for obstruction of justice.

President Donald Trump also added that it all started with his critics’ “phony collusion” accusations.

According to The Washington Post, the special counsel’s supervision of the Russian election interference probe has reached out far to even touch President Trump and investigate whether he is guilty of obstruction of justice.

“They made up a phony collusion with the Russians story, found zero proof, so now they go for obstruction of justice on the phony story. Nice,” the President tweeted on Thursday morning.

Later on he added: ‘You are witnessing the single greatest WITCH HUNT in American political history – led by some very bad and conflicted people! #MAGA”

The Director of the national intelligence, Daniel Coats, the chief of the National Security Agency Adm. Mike Rogers, and Richard Ledgett, Mike’s deceased deputy, have all participated in interviews with Robert Mueller’s assistants this week, five unidentified sources briefed on the requests told The Washington Post.

At first, it was not clear whether others have been interrogated by the Bureau. Investigators have allegedly started searching for evidence of crimes with financial nature done by President Trump’s aides.

“The FBI leak of information regarding the President is outrageous, inexcusable and illegal,” said Mark Corallo, the spokesperson for the president’s personal lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, on Wednesday.

The special counsel’s office refused to comment.
