While liberals spew never-ending conjecture about how President Donald Trump won’t be able to accomplish something, he has proved them wrong once again.
Experts predicted that Trump International Hotel in Washington, which opened in September 2016, would lose money in its first year, but a new report reveals that the hotel strongly outperformed many projections.
According to The Daily Beast, Trump’s hotel raked in $1.97 million in the first four months of 2017, despite liberals frequently organizing protests outside the hotel to oppose the duly elected president.
Information surrounding how the hotel has fared for the entire year of 2017 was unavailable Sunday.
The hotel, located in Washington’s Old Post Office, also surpassed predictions from the self-proclaimed experts that most luxury hotels don’t turn a profit in their first few years.
But Trump isn’t a typical businessman, and he continues to prove his critics wrong.
The hotel, which is close to the White House, has turned into a popular area for foreign leaders, tourists, Trump supporters, and other conservative groups, The Daily Caller reported.
More importantly, the hotel was expected to lose around $2 million in its first year, but it raked in nearly the same amount in profits in just four months.
“Even the critics of the Washington property acknowledged that it actually turned out better than maybe expected — one of the better of the Trump properties, if not among the best,” Bjorn Hanson, a professor of tourism and hospitality at New York University, told The Daily Beast.
Hanson said the hotel raised its rates after Trump’s Inauguration in January, a bold decision that has paid off as the hotel has a healthy bottom line and continues to exceed expectations.
The new report epitomizes Trump and how he defies odds despite overwhelming negativity from liberals.
And anyone who thinks Trump can’t beat the odds doesn’t have far to look for an answer.
Just ask failed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
With the entire Democrat Party and liberal leaning mainstream media against him, and even some prominent members of the Republican Party not supporting his candidacy, Trump managed a convincing win in the 2016 presidential election.
After pulling off a trick like that, having a hotel turning an unexpected profit in its first year of operation shouldn’t have surprised anyone.
But the experts keep underestimating the president — and he keeps proving them wrong.
